Virtual Assembly Training

Leading Question

Employees should be involved at an early stage in the design process of new plants and machines. How can I safely and cost-effectively train employees for new assembly steps? And how can this training start while the system is still being set up?

Our contribution

Virtual Assembly Training simulates and evaluates assembly steps in virtual reality for training and analysis purposes. A high degree of realism of the virtual environment promotes the transfer of learned procedures into the real situation. Integrated analysis tools enable a detailed evaluation and visualization of ergonomics and safety aspects.

Your benefit

In the virtual environment using for example VR glasses, assembly steps of a planned production can be trained before they become available. Valuable feedback from the training situation can be fed back into the design process in an early stage. Subsequent adjustments to the assembled assembly line are often expensive and difficult to carry out.
