Virtual Assembly Training simulates and evaluates assembly steps in virtual reality for training and analysis purposes. A high degree of realism of the virtual environment promotes the transfer of learned procedures into the real situation. Integrated analysis tools enable a detailed evaluation and visualization of ergonomics and safety aspects.

In the virtual environment using for example VR glasses, assembly steps of a planned production can be trained before they become available. Valuable feedback from the training situation can be fed back into the design process in an early stage.
